Group travel involves working with the airlines to lock down airfare up to a year in advance. By booking as a group, you are given the flexibility to change traveler names, number of travelers, trip dates, and layover city all within the planning process.
While there are no formal discounts for group flights and bookings, we promise to find the lowest fares available. The real advantage of group airfare is flexibility, which often saves money in the long run.
Unlike group bookings, individual tickets are non-transferrable and incur steep penalties if your itinerary changes.
A small percentage of the group can often choose a different departure or return flight, depending on the individual airline policy. The traveler must travel with the group on at least one leg of the trip.
Yes. We will collect any frequent flyer information when we organize your passenger details. We submit all information to the airline prior to ticketing, or the traveler can enter the ticket number into their frequent flyer account.
While our specialty is group travel, we can assist with individual bookings.
Unfortunately, for groups with less than 10 travelers, the airline group policies do not apply.
Deposits are either non-refundable or refundable until a given date, depending on the airline policy. If you book with EGA, your Group Travel Expert will notify you of all important dates and deadlines.
When your group is ready to commit to an itinerary with us, you will pay a deposit of roughly $50-$100 per traveler. The remaining balance is due 30-60 days prior to departure, depending on your airline’s policy.
